Notification flyer - the School Readiness Fair is still on as scheduled for today, April 10th, from 4-6:30 pm at Somerset Intermediate School.

After careful reassessment, due to the foggy conditions and the half day schedule, school is cancelled for all students today, April 10th. Due to travel and safety concerns, instructional and 12 month staff are to report at 11 am. Thank you for your understanding.

Superintendent W. David Bromwell will be hosting a series of community forums this April to share updates on the FY27 operating budget, the school system’s structure, and how our work is aligning with the Maryland Blueprint for Education.

These sessions are a chance to hear directly from system leadership, learn more about how decisions are being made, and ask questions.
