WES families please check student bookbags tonight for our fresh fruit of the month. Each student is being sent home with a grapefruit.
Some fun facts about grapefruits: They are packed with vitamin C and fiber. Grapefruits were originally called "the forbidden fruit". Jamaicans coined the term "grapefruit" because they grew in bunches like grapes.

Hello everyone! Student Application forms for our after school tutoring program will be sent home with students and are due by Wednesday, October 18th. Please be advised that if parents complete the form, not all students will be accepted in our program. Due to specific funding, data will be analyzed to screen out students who are in need of most of our program. The After School Tutoring Program is expected to start mid October and will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:05-6:05. We are working to provide transportation for our students as well. We will be sending updates as we collect applications from parents and students.
