Attention, Washington Academy & High School Families: Earlier today, WAHS administration received a threat to student and staff safety. As with all safety concerns, we take reports of this nature very seriously and worked closely with our law enforcement partners as they investigated this report. The source of the threat has been identified and is in the custody of law enforcement. At this time, families should be assured that law enforcement has deemed this threat non-credible, but for the safety of all students and staff, Washington High School will begin dismissing at 9:35 a.m. for law enforcement to conduct a thorough search of the building and school grounds. Buses will pick up students in the main bus loop, and parents are to pick up students from the student parking lot. If you have any specific concerns or questions in relation to this message, please reach out to school administration at 410-651-0480 when the school reopens tomorrow. Thank you for your patience and understanding, and for your continued trust and partnership.
