WES has a really nice fundraiser going on. We are selling mental health t-shirt. Please see the attached flyer for details. Orders are due by May 15th. Shirts will be shipped June 9th. You will have the option to pick the order up at the school or make arrangements to have it delivered. Thank you for your continued support.

Lunch Menu for the week of May 8th
We have a busy night planned for Thursday, May 11th. Parent-Teacher Conferences, Transition Night, Art Show, and the Book Fair will all be held on the same night. Please come join us even if you do not need to have a conference, but understand that if you arrive without an appointment you are not guaranteed to meet with the teacher. They will only be able to meet with you if they have an open block of time.
Either before or after your conference, you may check out the artwork in the hallways, and pick up materials for the next grade levels. Dinners will be available for carryout in the cafeteria.There will be an evaluation for the event as a whole, not just conferences, that we will ask families to complete when they pick up dinner. Flyers for Parent-Teacher Conferences will be coming home soon and must be returned by May 9th. We look forward to seeing everyone Thursday.
Tenemos una noche ocupada planeada para el jueves 11 de mayo. Las conferencias de padres y maestros, la noche de transición, la exhibición de arte y la feria del libro se llevarán a cabo la misma noche. This Friday May 5th will be a casual day for a family in need. Students can participate if they pay $1.00 and staff can participate if they pay $2.00. May Event Calendar
Our Book Fair will start next Monday, May 8th through Friday May 12th. All students will be given the chance to walk through the book fair on during their Specials class. Otherwise, students may come to the book fair with money during their Specials class, with a parent or guardian, or during homeroom. We will also be open during our Transition Night and Art on Thursday, May 11th from 4:05-6:05. Thank you for supporting our Book Fair.

Thursday, May 4, 2023 the Judy Center in partnership with the Maryland Food Bank will hold their monthly food distribution in the bus loop from 11:00-12:00 Please stay in your vehicle. A staff member will assist you.

The School Improvement Team (SIT) would like to welcome parents to join our Break Out Groups on Wednesday, April 26 starting at 4:45. This time gives parents and guardians a chance to work together with teachers on subjects that affect our students. Please come join our Parent Involvement, PBIS, or Early Childhood break out group. Daycare will be provided for this meeting.
