Reminder: Thursday is early dismissal at 12:30 and Friday school is closed for students. We are celebrating our end of the month incentive on Thursday which means it's a free casual day!

The plumbing issues at Deal Island Elementary have been resolved, and the school will operate on its normal schedule tomorrow, Tuesday 1/28/25. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked to address the situation. We look forward to welcoming students and staff back!


DIS is experiencing a plumbing outage today, Monday, Jan. 27. For the health and safety of students and staff, DIS will dismiss early, beginning at 12:30pm. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.
