If you see a quick flash or hear the shutter clicking, turn around because you may catch one of our budding photographers in action! Students from Ms. Prado's "Introduction to Photography" class have been busy in Somerset County. Ms. Prado has four goals for our students in her class. They are: 1. For the students to develop their skills in communicating visually and verbally through photography. 2. For students to gain confidence in talking about and creating works of art in photography. 3. For students to learn more about themselves through art. 4. For students to expand their knowledge of artists and art historical trends and periods. I would say we have some pretty great photographers blooming in #JagNation! Great work #Jags! Great teaching Ms. Prado!

Wow! Tony Morton and his GRIT Program executed another amazing men's event and dinner. Guest speaker Kevin King shared valuable life lessons and stories to our young men. A 5 minute decision can be the difference between success and incarceration. It is the job of parents, schools, and communities to speak and stand up for what's right. There's no tolerance for drugs, gangs, and guns. Let's Go! #JagNation

WAHS keeps crushing it! Did you come out to the Black History Event? Cause if you did then you'd know what's up! This was stellar! Mr. Handy coordinated an event that featured a Harriet Tubman performance, "I Have a Dream" recital, Greek Organizational stepping, vendors and more. It was down right awesome and probably the BEST event of the year!

To participate in the Shore Way to College program for 23-24 all documentation needs to be completed. This includes the SWTC registration form and SCPS consent to release information form. This allows for smooth program planning and much enjoyment of enrichment activities for the students. Any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to speak to a SWTC representative during lunch or the Community Liaison Mr. Taylor.
