Somerset County Public Schools is inviting families, staff, and community members to take part in the collaborative process of developing the 2026–2027 academic calendar.
As part of this annual process, the school system has developed several draft calendar options for community review. Public feedback plays an important role in shaping the calendar before it is presented to the Somerset County Board of Education for consideration and action.
The Somerset County Public Schools Community is encouraged to review Calendar Drafts A, B, C, and D and share their feedback through our online survey by Monday, February 2, 2026.

A Thoughtful and Transparent Process
Developing the academic calendar is a collaborative effort that considers instructional requirements, the needs of students and staff, family schedules, and state and local guidelines. Community feedback gathered through the survey will help inform refinements before a recommended calendar is presented to the Board for consideration.
