Good afternoon, Woodson Wave Families, this is Liz Berry with some updates for the coming week. Congratulations to our Staff Member of the Week, Mrs. Sarah Ward. Mrs. Ward models every minute how students are expected to perform. Additionally, she stays in the cafeteria with her students during dismissal to ensure they are seated, listening and waiting calmly to be picked up. Great work Mrs. Ward!
Our Students of the Week are Alan Martinez Lobaton in 2nd grade and Antonio “AJ” Diaz-Hernandez in 5th grade. Alan is a great student and does a great job modeling appropriate classroom behaviors. Alan also does his best on his assignments and looks over his work before turning it in. Antonio is always very helpful to staff and students. He is very polite, respectful, and kind to all. We are so proud of both of these young gentlemen for following and showing the Woodson Way.
We are so proud of our 4th grade GT 1st place county-wide winners, Ryley Taylor and Brayden Butler. Congratulations to both of you!
