The scrimmage that was scheduled for today between Crisfield and Washington's Girls Varsity Basketball has been postponed until Wednesday, Nov. 29th at 4:30 at Washington High.

Today we said goodbye and congratulations to Mrs. Ethel Abbott, who has been on the custodial staff for almost 2 1/2 years, and is retiring as of today! We wish you all the best "Ms. Ethel" and hope you enjoy this next chapter of your life!











A fun time was had by all on the field trip to Eastern Shore Lanes. This was a follow up to the "in-school bowling" lessons conducted during physical education classes earlier in the school year. 🎳 Thank you to Eastern Shore Lanes in Pocomoke for hosting us!

Today, Friday, Nov. 17, Mr. Randy Laird's Geography class took a walking field trip to Somers Cove Marina to see the NAO Trinidad, a replica of one of Magellan's ships. The ship will leave Crisfield on Monday, Nov. 20. Everyone enjoyed this experience!

Congratulations to our very own Crabber, Abigail Wise. Last night she played in the Field Hockey Coaches Association of Maryland (FHCAM), Susan Pusey Senior Game. The game was played in Elkridge, Maryland. We are proud of her and she represented our school and community very well!

Just a reminder that permission slips and money are due by Friday, November 17, for the PE bowling trip on Monday, November 20. Any student who is currently in a PE or Health class, or 8th graders who had PE/Health quarter 1 are eligible to attend. Academy Boys/Girls Basketball Tryouts/Practice will be held this Thursday and Friday (16th,17th) in the Somerset Intermediate School gym. They will begin at 3PM and be done promptly at 4:30PM. Students participating should have an updated physical in order to play/practice.

Attention parents of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade athletes: Fall Sports Awards will be held for Academy sports on Monday, Nov. 13, 5:00 pm at Somerset Intermediate School.
