CRISFIELD, MD, November 28, 2022 – Students attending Somerset County Public Schools’ (SCPS) recently participated in the 2022 Somerset Arts Council Student Exhibition at the West Main Street Gallery in Crisfield. Student artwork submissions were received county-wide and awards announced at the Somerset Arts Council “Emerging Artist” opening reception on October 28, 2022. Student artwork was on exhibition at the Somerset Arts Council West Main Street Gallery through November 26, 2022.
From Somerset County Technical High School (SCTHS), Best in Show was awarded to “Shells” by Briana P.
From Crisfield Academy & High School (CAHS), Best in Show was awarded to “Gaddu Da Vida” by Dakota D.
From Washington Academy & High School (WAHS), Best in Show was awarded to “Photo” by Caleb P. (left). WAHS Art Teacher, Mr. Scott Smith (right) joined his student in support.
From Deal Island Elementary School (DIS), Best in Show was awarded to “Owl” by Nolan D.
