We are proud to announce the graduation of three Somerset County Public School leaders from the Academy for Leadership in Education at Salisbury University!
Mrs. Keisha Evans, Principal at Crisfield Academy & High School
Mr. Brandon Austin, Principal at Greenwood Elementary School
Mr. David Edwards, Dean of Students at Washington Academy & High School
This program is, "designed for professional educators seeking to strengthen their leadership skills and behaviors, refine their leadership practices, and broaden their impact across schools and districts. Staffed and facilitated by leadership experts and consultants in the field of leadership, the ALE is a two-year-long, twelve-part series of in-depth professional development sessions. Through a variety of teaching and learning formats, participants develop[ed] their leadership competencies for achieving extraordinary outcomes within their organizations" (Salisbury University, 2026).
These leaders are excited to apply the skills and practices learned through the Academy while leading their school communities this upcoming year.
