WESTOVER, MD (December 12, 2025) - Out of an abundance of caution, student devices will be sent home today, Friday, December 12, 2025, due to the potential for inclement weather on Monday, December 15.
As a reminder, Somerset County Public Schools has already used all three of its inclement weather makeup days. If weather conditions prevent safe student transportation, the school system will implement virtual school days whenever feasible.
Families are encouraged to ensure that student devices are charged and ready for use in the event a virtual day is necessary. Parents/guardians and students are responsible for school-issued devices, which should be returned to school on the next in-person school day.
