It is the intent of Somerset County Public Schools, in accordance with Maryland Special Education Laws, to destroy the confidential records of any student who received special education services with a birthdate between January 1, 1996 and December 31, 1996.
If you are interested in obtaining records, please contact the Special Education department at 410-651-1616 ext. 11219. Arrangements will be made to pick-up records from the Board of Education. Picture identification will be requested as proof of identity.
Records not claimed by January 30, 2026 will be destroyed.
