Greenwood Elementary School reading coach Patti Monk said, "I just wanted to give you an update about our used book drive.  As of today (June 9), we received approximately 1,100 gently used books for distribution to students. SUMMER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

IN SOMERSET COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS 

 

Migrant School will be held from July 5 to August 5 for students three years of age to grade 12.   It will be held Monday through Friday at Somerset Intermediate School from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Summer School will be a combined program with the Migrant School. Summer School will be held for students in Kindergarten through grade 7 from July 5 through August 4 Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., also at Somerset Intermediate School. The Pre-Kindergarten Summer Program will be held from July 11 to August 4 Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Greenwood Elementary School and Woodson Elementary School. The 3-Year-Old Transition Program will be held from July 25 to August 4 Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Greenwood Elementary School and Woodson Elementary School. The 8th Grade intervention Program will be held from July 5 to August 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Crisfield Academy and High School. The Credit Recovery Program will be held for students in grades 11 and 12 from July 5 to August 4 Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Crisfield Academy and High School. The Delmarva Theater Camp will be for students three years of age to grade 12. It will be held from July 1 to July 22 Monday through Friday. It will be held within the Migrant Program from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Somerset Intermediate School and at Washington Academy and High School from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dress rehearsal and performance will be held at Washington Academy and High School on July 22. The Extended School Year Program will be held for students in Kindergarten through grade 12 from July 5 to July 28 Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m.to 11:30 a.m. at Greenwood Elementary School. The Summer Incentive Program will be held for students in Kindergarten through grade 12 from June 28 to August 11 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Marion Sarah Peyton School. The Three Lower Counties Program will be held for students in Kindergarten through grade 12 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.at Washington Academy and High School. Transportation will be provided for all programs with the exception of the Delmarva Theater Camp.
