SALARY: 15 Hours per week at $15 per hour

SUMMARY OF DESCRIPTION OF CLASSIFICATION:

Reports to Adult Education Programs Coordinator. Plan ESL adult experiences for students.

REQUIREMENTS:

A. Educational Requirements:

	Bachelors degree in Education or related field.
	Ability to attend school meetings, programs and activities outside the instructional day for professional development, to accommodate patrons or to support curricular activities of students.
	ESL teaching background.

B. Skill Requirements:

	Understanding of the teaching/learning process.
	Ability to infuse technology into curriculum.
	Ability to provide instruction that reflects multiple perspectives and multi-cultural education.
	Excellent oral and written communication and human relations skills.
	Knowledge of principles of ESL instruction.

C. Duties: Provide instruction in reading and writing for ESL adult learners. This will involve ABE and GED instruction.
